The Digital Humanities Collaborative (DHC) is a School of Arts and Humanities infrastructure supporting faculty and students as they initiate and sustain digitally related teaching, research, and creative endeavor within departments, across disciplines, and among other campuses. The DHC is a hub for inquiry, innovative thinking, information sharing, partnership building, and project development.
Digital work in the humanities embraces a variety of textual and media studies; cultural mapping; digital data collection and analysis of patterns and trends over time; multimedia projects blending film, animation, music, writing, 3D environments and gaming; pedagogies to enhance learning in seated and online courses; and communication through a multiplicity of technological platforms.
