"Following James Joyce...Dublin to Buffalo"

Following James Joyce was commissioned by the National Library of Ireland for its Centennial Bloomsday Exhibit in Dublin. It was filmed on location in Dublin, Paris, Trieste, Pola (Croatia), Zurich, and Buffalo. The film follows Joyce as he lived and wrote Dubliners; A Portrait of the Artist As A Young Man; Ulysses; and Finnegans Wake, and then follows the travels of his manuscripts to Buffalo, NY. It was produced and directed by Patrick Martin and Stacy Herbert, of Buffalo and Dublin, respectively, and is narrated by Laurence Shine, lecturer of English at Buffalo State.
