The Visual Arts Board and the Communication Design Program are sponsoring a lecture by Professor Kay Youn of Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania. Youn is an interactive designer who has worked for many corporations in Korea, as well as small businesses and organizations in the U.S. His workshop will explore the basics of pop-up fold construction techniques for artist's books, children's books, and cards.
The lecture will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Upton Hall 211.
The pop-up workshop runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Upton Hall 306.
Please bring an x-acto knife + #11 blades, metal rulers, Elmer's glue (clear preferred), magic tape, bone folder, and cutting board. The workshop size is limited to 15 participants.
